The service
AuraTranscribe converts audio and video files into text transcripts and subtitle files (TXT, SRT, VTT) using AI transcription. The service is offered on a pay-as-you-go basis: you purchase transcription minutes and they are deducted based on the duration of the files you process.
Accounts and free credits
You need an account to use the service. New accounts receive 45 free transcription minutes, limited to one grant per person. Creating multiple accounts to collect additional free credits is not permitted and may result in account termination.
Payments and credits
Payments are processed by Stripe. Purchased minutes never expire and there are no recurring charges. Purchased minutes are non-transferable between accounts.
Refunds
If a transcription fails or produces unusable output due to a fault in our service, contact us and we will re-credit the minutes used. Unused purchased minutes are refundable within 14 days of purchase on request via the contact page.
Acceptable use
You may only upload content you have the right to use. You may not use the service to process unlawful content, to infringe on others' intellectual property or privacy, or to attempt to disrupt or overload the service. Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality and is not guaranteed to be error-free; review transcripts before relying on them.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" without uptime guarantees. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, unused purchased minutes will be refunded.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
