What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and an encrypted password. When you purchase transcription minutes, payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. We keep a record of your credit balance and transcription history so your dashboard works.
Your uploaded files
Audio and video files you upload are processed in temporary, isolated containers solely to generate your transcript. Files are deleted from our systems as soon as transcription finishes. We do not keep copies of your audio or video, we do not share them with third parties, and we never use your files or transcripts to train AI models.
Your transcripts
Completed transcripts are stored in your account so you can re-download them. You can delete them at any time from your dashboard, which removes them from our systems.
Cookies and analytics
We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in. We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used; we do not sell data or run advertising trackers.
Third-party services
We rely on a small set of processors to run the service: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes only the data needed for its function.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time via the contact page. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and note the new date above.
